Hi All,
I've been approached by a consultant working for the council on how Kingstanding circle could be improved for cyclists. I have ridden around the area, not not frequently. One of the potential conflicts is that it's designed to get as much traffic as possible through to the next bottle neck, which leads to some harsh acceleration from cars trying to get onto the roundabout. As far as I can see this just means the cars get to the next set of traffic lights a few seconds earlier, but create a challenging environment for cyclists and pedestrians around the various junctions.
Any comments would be welcome.
Thanks
