Welcome to your Last Newsletter. May the 25th is GDPR day.
All Mailing Lists that are currently kept by officers and Past officers of this club
must be scrapped and a new list, managed under the new regulations, will operate after
the above date.
(You need to give Permission for Your Details to be kept on anyone's mailing list)
Historically Head Office have provided us with certain personal information for those
members that have selected North Birmingham as their local club, this however is no
longer permissible. Only affiliated clubs are able to manage their own membership,
and as a members group we are no longer provided with any data other than Name &
Membership Number.
To continue to receive Newsletters and to get your name on our new Mailing list you
must fill out the NEW GDPR form. (at the end of the newsletter)
It is with much sadness that I have to inform you of the untimely passing of
Mark Johnson who I know many of you knew and cycled with.
Details of the funeral will be available when they are known.
- Cycling Cafe
This will be our 3rd Cycling Cafe in support for the Macmillan Cancer Support
All rides will start at the Jamboree Stone and finish at the Cooper Rooms.

- Social
The Beer and Skittles night was was another good social and I for one had a
thoroughly good night. Thanks go to Julie and Ros for organising this event.

- Audax
This year our Audax was held on Sunday 29th April.
We did not get the sunshine this year however it was dry and a record number of
Cyclists left Shenstone on the 4 Rides.
The Shenstone Head Quarters were opened at 6am and closed at 10.30pm
I would like to give a MASSIVE thank you to Martin Whitehouse and John Llewellyn
for giving me superb help during the day with the catering it was much appreciated,
also to Sarah and to Aldridge Musical Comedy Society members Charlotte and Michael for popping in and lending a hand.
