- Birmingham Bike Week
- Dates for your Calender
We have received the following email from Simon Davies who is working with The Birmingham Cycling UK Development Officer to promote the event
The first Sunday of Bike Week 10th June we are having the British Cycling "Let's Ride" event, which is the new name for the "City Ride" which was the new name for the "Sky Ride" a circuit of at least 7km on closed roads in the city centre for people to come out
and ride, all with a carnival atmosphere and lots of stands and attractions to look at.
The theme this year is Community Cycle Clubs.
I know that technically you are a Member Group rather than a CCC but if you've any any advertising literature for the Northern that you'd like displayed then I'm sure that we can accommodate it.
We are also trying to organise a number of bike rides and smaller events across the city for Bike Week. Thus, if you would like to nominate one of your shorter more beginner friendly rides as a Bike Week ride and open it to anyone, we could put it in the Bike Week / Birmingham Cycle Revolution advertising media for you, and you would have the opportunity to attract potential new members.
If anyone would like get involved in these events, please email as above
