Hi Folks
August is here and all our miles of summer cycling has now resulted in our super trained bodies just to coincide with The Club 100 :-) “East to Willey”
The WEB Site is down to the bare bones at the moment but please bear with us and a new site will be up and running soon.
Sunday All Day Rides it seems are wavering and the rides list currently shows no “C” rides for August and September. If you are a “C” Rider and would like to put something together I will circulate it and lets try to get these rides up running again. OR maybe in a different format ie start 9:00 – 9:30 and return home at around 1:00 – 1:30 with a cafe stop similar to a Saturday ride. Pace to suit the riders. Just a thought!
Please email me back with any suggestions.
The Club 100
Undertake the ride in 8, 10 or 12 hours, there's a pace to suit everyone.
Tony Tibbins is taking entries at the moment and don't forget, this year there is no entry fee so please get your entry form to Tony asap.
You can email him on gail.tony@talktalk.net or contact him on 0121 580 9297
entry closes on Wednesday 3rd August.
Alternative Sunday Rides
It was a small peleton that set off for the first of these rides but our trip out along the canals and through the Netherton tunnel to the Bull and Bladder, then back along the canal into Brindley place and home via NR535 was enjoyed by all.
The next one of these rides is planned for September, further details to follow.
Wednesday Evening Rides
These are proving to be popular with typically between 6 and 12 riders. The rides are social and the speed is determined by the group. Next week's ride goes to the White Horse at Curdworth and the following week we will be following NR535 into Birmingham to sample the nightlife at Brindley place. Meet at the Jamboree stone in the center of Sutton Park at 7pm. Please ensure you have lights for the return journey.
Check the Facebook page for updates, if the weather is inclement, they may not go ahead.
Ride Leaders
If you're not and would like to become a Ride Leader please get in touch and we will
sort out some assistance for you.
What group could you help/assist with leading ie day or days, duration, Speed.
